Dear Dick,
Thank you for the trust and confidence of giving me a position for the
membership committee. However, I believe that there are people more capable of
doing this task. You know before hand that I have my reservations on meeting
the number of target members on the agreed date. With that in mind I don't
think I can give justice to the position and the target.
Rest assured that I will always help in any way I can in bringing more members.
