Can we please do this addition in our spreadsheet. Albert please send us
a standard format for all to fill in or complete, so that all of us can
input all the necessary information required by our office (FILEX) and
the insurance company.

Don't you think we need to have a column on inclusive dates for the
insurance policy/coverage? It is easy to pick up  any cell or data from
whatever data base record(excel, access, etc) and capture the same for

In order to get these information we need to have a copy of the FilEx
members registration forms including the incorporators and charter
members.
 
IBTs, I think its time we hire someone to do these tasks(data entry,
filing, follow ups, etc.) as we are all aware we are doing this on our
spare time and if we wait for everybody's conveninent time we'll be at a
stand still.

        Let me reiterate that the report I prepared is just the summary
of the
        list I received from the Exec. Treasurer highlighting the number
of
        insured against the registered/paid members. You will notice
that there
        is no amount of money mentioned in the report since
acknowledgement of
        cash remittances is the treasurer's job and its niether I nor
anyone's
        concern. Whatever list of registered members I receive from the
        Executive Treasurer is presumed paid as validated. 
         
        However, it is important that the report(excel sheet) clearly
mentions
        whether the member has paid the insurance premium. As you may
have
        noticed in my summary not all registered members are to be
covered in
        our group insurance scheme. If I receive a report with 300
members, I
        can not assume that all 300 are to be covered. Thus, your
report, as
        validated by the treasurer should clearly mention who is to be
covered
        and who is not. Sending it to the treasurer by email on excel
format
        (emailed to all earlier) will save time on re typing the names
all over
        again. 
         
        The report I receive from the Treasurer is the same report that
goes to
        the membership committee. Having these information at hand I
thought it
        would be proper to share the same information in summarised form
for all
        to know where we stand on the membership and insurance drive.
Should you
        think this type of progress reporting is unnecessary or there is
a
        better way to do it please feel free to suggest.
