I already know that, and the reasoning is fine, as it keeps the document 
folder independent for each user of the computer.

I am almost certain that the profiles folder (i.e., C:\Documents and 
Settings) can be changed to some reasonable name, like, oh, say 
c:\profiles, or moved to a different volume entirely.

I have a Win2K upgrade for my NT 4 box but am waiting to install it until 
I've upgraded Finale and moved my good sound card from my old PC to the 
newer one.
