Then I assume from what you have said that people should be allowed to
use any music fonts they wish, rather than restricting the music fonts
to only what comes with the programs?
I think any comparison should be completely open to use anything the
program will allow (including importing graphics if the particular
engraver wants to do that to copy an existing publication) or the
comparison should be restricted to using only what ships with the program.
But there have been too many postings about restricting fonts but
allowing any plug-ins.
I am in favor of allowing each program's full capabilities, fonts,
plug-ins, importing graphics, whatever the individual engraver wants to
make use of to accomplish the stated engraving goals.
