Well, my piano teacher at the time was a devout member of the Assembly of 
God church, so I suspect she never even *knew* that version.

Actually, I think "golden" is superior, as the second syllable is enough 
weaker to place it rhythmically closer than the "damn," which comes out 
with an accent equal to "god."
