There are two light-blue guides in the paper-tray, take care they are pushed
against the paper stack, if the one on the righthand side is loose the paper
can skew on its way past the cartridge.
The paper tray was very, very stiff, at least on my printer, I had to use
force to pull it out. I remember lifting and lowering the pin that sticks
out of the sides of the tray and now its one finger under the handle and a
thumb against the case and the tray slides out easily.
