My nominations:

1) More flexibility for the "File info" box: I'd like to be able to define
more fields in this dialogue, with the flexibility to be able to name the
additional fields as necessary. Thus an additional field in one score might be
"sub-title", and in another, "arranger".

2) Search-and-replace in the text dialogue boxes.

3) Password restriction of Finale files. I'd like to be able to create a
score, and define three levels of restriction: level 1: you can view the score
on the screen, and play it back, but you cannot edit the file, or print it to a
printer; level 2: you can view and play back the score, and print it printer,
and perhaps (if feasible within the context of finale), make certain types of
changes: transpose it from one key to another, adjust pages sizes (say from US
to European "letter size", or "portrait" to "landscape" page format); and level
3: no restrictions on what you can do to the file.

4) Smart Shape tool modification: I'd like to be able to define a custom line,
containing the text "allargando", spelled in the definition, "al-lar-gan-do",
and have the text spaced out, with zero or more hyphens and automatic spacing.

5) Text tool: I'd like for the "page range" to be changed to "page list", so
that if I specify that a text block is to appear on pages "2-5,7-9", the block
will appear on all pages but numbers 1 and 6.

6) Lyric tool: At present, editing lyrics in the "edit lyric box" can, under
some circumstances, cause lyrics to wrap from one line to another, while making
the same changes in the "type into score mode" does not. I'd like to see the
edit lyrics adjusted to have the same end result as making the same changes in
type into score.
