Microsoft wants VBScript executed via the Windows Scripting Host to be
the AppleScript for Windows. At least, that was how they promoted the WSH
when it was introduced in Windows98.

But, of course, VBScript and the WSH are the engine for the propagation
of lots of viruses, such as ILOVEYOU and any number of copycat
viruses/trojans.

I disable the WSH on any machine I'm responsible for, simply because I
consider it an unnecessary security risk.

However, I don't actually delete it, just disable its default execution
of VBS files. That means that explicit calls to it could still work, and
thus, it could be used as a scripting host for Finale.

However, I see no utility in this whatsoever, to be frank.
