I'm a lurker here, but I have been using Finale for some time, Voyetra Music
Write for even longer and just got Sibelius as well. Which is easier to use
largely depends on the use you put it to. Finale is definitely easier to
use if you want to put the notes in with a mouse...in fact, real easy since
I use a touch pad I can hold in my hand. Voyetra is easier to use if you
want to use your keyboard as a "typewriter" since you just click on a note
value on the screen and play the note. Sibelius is almost as easy as
Voyetra in that regard.

Finale is easiest to use for copying and pasting repetitive sections.

Sibelius is easiest to use for adding channels and instruments, mixing
volume levels, changing instruments, etc. Voyetra is almost as easy, Finale
is painfully complicated in this regard.

Voyetra is not very intuitive and inputting some note sequences is
difficult, but I can change between staffs with two clicks (input notes on
the Treble staff and change it to guitar tab, for instance) or input on my
small keyboard and then drop the notes down several octaves with two clicks.
Unfortunately, it can't play back anything longer than 93 measures.

Sibelius does a better job of analyzing chords. Finale has some really
useful plug-ins.

It would be nice if someone came up with one program that contained all the
advantages of all three programs, but in the meantime, I tend to go back and
forth depending on what I want to do.
