Yep, tried that, to make it work with instruments that don't come up, you have to go open the instrument window after creating a new channel with the wizard....but doable....hadn't seen the volumne thing...it is a rather complicated way to do it, but will play with it.
NOW---for an easier way to "type in" notes with the keyboard. Thanks for the heads up.
