In terms of strain on the fingers and arms, I think that Speedy Entry on
the qwerty keyboard is probably more comfortable (though it varies,
depending on the music).  It takes quite a bit of practice to get really
fast at it, but once you do, it's almost as smooth as regular typing.
(Incidentally, I don't move my shoulders at all when I type.  I had typing
class in elementary school, believe it or not, so good technique was
drilled into me at an early age.)

My only ergonomic issue is that I tend to get sore on the side of my right
thumb, from using it on the arrow keys.  I could solve that if I were to
get some keys with a soft ridge like the space bar has. (Come to think of
it, I suppose I could pop the keys off and file them down....)
