Actually, I think it should be called a hard hyphen.  But in any case, using
a hard hyphen instead of a hard space is an easier solution than in the
Finale manual.

However, there's another issue. When a word crosses a system boundary and
there's a syllable on the first note of the new system, there should be a
hyphen before this syllable.

System1:
o  o
Al-le-

System2:
 o  o
-lu-ia.

It's possible to achieve this in Finale, but not without spacing pain.  The
"lu" syllable needs to be hardhyphen,hardspace,"lu"  and then needs to be
repositioned under the note, and horks Music Spacing.
