I agree. http://www.thesoundsite.net/ has lots of great ones, and some of the brass is terrific. I use Waveterminal 2496 sound cards and LiveSynth Pro under Sonar for working with Soundfonts, but even with an 'ordinary' card, you can do much better work than the built-in fonts. Some are quite big -- Yamaha's 'splendid piano' soundfound is over 250MB!
