Script is the magic word, font is of minor importance. Once within a text block, choose font from the menu, choose Central European or whatever appropriate script. In lyrics you'll have to do the same. Copy and Paste from Word does not always work, to put it mildly. In the lyrics edit window it might look weird, but on screen, and hopefully in print, it'll be ok. If you you use File Info for title and composer, ignore the looks in that edit window as well. If you go to page layout, text tool, select the text, choose font with the correct script, it should be ok on screen and in print. Finale seems to have a very bad memory for these settings and a very clumsy handling of any non-standard characters, so be patient and record your steps carefully, so that you can repeat them for every occurence of non-standard characters. I've made a book with Japanese songs, for the Japanese (names, titles, lyrics) and for the transliteration into alphabet I needed many special characters. Getting all of that right was one of the hardest Finale jobs I ever did. Some things didn't even work in my fully-capable-of-Japanese WindowsXP, I had to use a Japanese version of Windows, running Finale on that. What horror and non-cooperative Finale behaviour that gave I'll leave to your imagination.
