It seems to me you have two issues w/ part extraction. One is the same as with the score, i.e., you want to maintain the mvmt 4 pages separately. I would use PDFs for this, just as I would with the score. Just make sure mvmt 4 starts on a new page in all the parts. The other issue is combining the parts into a single file. I usually do this using copy/insert. (One used to use clip files, but in recent model versions I see no difference between clip files and copy/insert.) The primary gotchas with combining files are clef changes and meas-attached exps (other than ones on all staves). Finale tends to make a mess of these when you insert them into another file, and until recently the only solution was to manually reedit them. It may be that you can reduce some of these problems by extracting the source first, then copy/inserting it into the target, but you won't eliminate them all. My Mass Copy plugin, when used with Fin03, solves this problem. The technique is described at my website under the user info for Mass Copy. -- Robert Patterson http://www.robertgpatterson.com _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
