The CDSheet music licence says you can print as many copies of the music as you want, since the music is all in the public domain.

It does not say how many electronic steps you may or may not take along the way from CDSheet music CD to paper.

But CDSheet music does not own the music, nor does it claim to own the music, included on their CDs. They simply claim to own the electronicly distributed form of the music, and they do claim copyright on that, so you can't burn copies of the CDs for your friends.

I own many of the CD-ROMs from CD Sheet Music/ Theodore Presser. The
art songs are published only in the original keys. Is there some way of
scanning and importing directly from the PDF files of the CD-ROM? Or is
it necessary to print out the music, scan it, and then import it into
Finale in order to change the key? This is a laborious process, and I'm
hoping to figure out a way to skip a few steps. If this topic has been
discussed before, please point me towards the proper solution.

Not that I really want to open this can of worms, but are you sure that what
you want to do is legal?
