You are right: I need to update layout once and then the problem of notes expanding to the right diminishes. It is still an annoyance if one has to wait.
I'm going to try out a 3 GHz computer and compare. I just found out today that my type of RAM isn't even produced any more, and that the warehouses have long been empty of it! The support clerk at my local computer store laughed when I told her the specs of my computer. Well, she's just naive. Gotta forgive her. Some people do word-processing and notation work on their computers, and have never played "Doom". But if ever anyone wrote a 3D computer game in which the user thinks he's in armed battle, but in reality the output of the game would be generating beautiful scores onto the hard disk, I'd be the first to upgrade my computer! Ha! FinaleFire! Bang bang! You're dead! Great, I just got my paycheck... On to Level Two... You get as many lives as you have clients... Liudas ----- Original Message ----- From: David H.
