I doubt that Brubeck wrote the published piano arrangement himself, as most composers of pop and jazz don't. Possibly the last one to do this was Gershwin (though not for all of his works; just his piano solos), although from what I have seen of Jerome Kern's originals the published versions are often quite close.

Also, I mentioned that dotted notation of swing rhythms went out of style around the end of the 50's, though I am certain there were some hold-overs; perhaps Brubeck was one of them, though I have no certain evidence of that.
