How does one get more than 2 measures under one ending bracket? The plugin

does one do this, eg

Additional difficulty: the endings take more than one system.

After the ending has been created, use the Repeat tool and click the measure to which the bracket has been attached (i.e. the first or last measure of it, for the two separate halves). There appears a set of handles on the bracket that you can use to move its various parts. The "begin ending" bracket has two handles on the right end; the one on the very end can create a line at a right angle to the bracket (for instance, to close off the ending) and the one next to it controls the height of the bracket.

For multiple-system endings, you can use a "begin ending" bracket on the first system and a "finish ending" bracket on the second system; if you need even more you might either use a smart shape or an ending bracket with the hanging end dragged up to be level with the line.

The plugin really isn't necessary... it just automates the task.
