The fun really starts with repeat endings when you want to adjust the 
height of the various elements. "Counting the nudges", as suggested by 
Peter Taylor, is essential in order to get everything to line up. Some 
staves (e.g. guitar with chord symbols above) may need individual 
height adjustments. A more sophisticated plug-in that could handle all 
this would save hours of work.
