Hi, I've been off the list for awhileand hope I'm not asking a question that's just been dealt with.

I'm working on a piece for tenor sax& piano and have been inputtingwithconcert pitch displayed. Parts of the piece are with standard key signatures, and parts are in free non-tonality. Now I want to switch over to showing the tenor sax in the correct transposition and still have accurate pitches on midi playback.

That would be easy if it were all in key signatures, but the non-tonal sections should have no signature in the saxophone rather than looking like D Major. I can't figure out how to transpose some sections with signature and some sections without, and still have the midi come out right.
Try applying a Staff Style to that section. In the "Staff Transpositions" dialog, set to "Chromatic" transposition instead of "Key Signature."
