Also, I can't seem to uninstall Finale 2004 with either the Finale uninstall utility or in the Control Panel of my Windows 98 operating system.
I have already reformatted the hard drive and reinstalled all my programs, including Finale 2004. I've re-installed printer drivers, and done thorough maintenance on the computer, but the printing problems have persisted. I have since uninstalled Finale 2004, but not correctly. After using Finale's uninstall tool (didn't work) and using the Control Panel to remove programs (didn't work), I just deleted the Finale folder. The OS and other programs seem to be functioning correctly in spite of this dirty uninstall, and so far the printing problems have disappeared. But they were quite intermittent and may show up again.
I am seeking confirmation that the problem may have been directly related to installing 2004 (which requires 128MB ram) on a computer with only 64MB ram.
