I can't conceive of a reason why your described problems would be caused by low RAM. Either Finale wouldn't be able to run, or the components it needs to run would fail, but not silently. Do other installed programs print OK? In any event, RAM is so cheap as to make the idea of sticking with just 64MBs of RAM a ridiculous idea. Even if the DIMM slots are maxed out, it's remarkably cheap to purchase a huge amount of RAM and max out the PC, even discarding the old DIMMs. Of course, if the PC is old enough to use SIMMs, that's a horse of a different color. I've never been a fan of Win98, either. Be sure your printer drivers are fully Win98 compatible. -- David W.
