So far I have been unsuccessful in adjusting the speed and accurate placement of a string portamento in human playback (Finale 2004 Windows.
The effect I want is a very quick slide...the same effect as shifting position. I want to go from B to D#, second finger on the G string (violin). What I get is a SLOW portamento which is offensive. How do I delay the start and increase the speed of this "shift"? I used the TG Tools Smart Playback plug-in to get where I am with it.
