Is there some reason why you can't switch which window is the higher-
resolution monitor? Would it really matter that much if the "primary" 
monitor were actually the low-resolution monitor? Or would it be too 
inconvenient for all the programs that you're running only on one 
monitor?

I've never used dual monitors, so I don't know how hard it is to move 
something from one monitor to another.
