When I received my disk in the Mail from Coda, or whatever it's called now, it was already 2004b, so I don't have to worry about upgrading in this case.
As for bleed text blocks, I have never had more than one Finale file open at a time, and I don't intend to start now, so the text block bleeding shouldn't be an issue for me (he says hopefully).
