Right. Sorry to keep harping on this, but MacSupport told me that they have not received very many bug reports on this -- which is kind of mysterious to me, given how common the problem is, and given the tediousness of the workaround. But there you go -- as it stands now, the implication I got from MacSupport is that this problem is just not a high priority for Coda right now. And that won't change unless they get more bug reports from their users.
So -- for what must be at least the hundredth time on this list -- I urge everyone who cares about getting this bug fixed (which really, ought to be every single FinMac user) to email MacSupport and tell them this bug should be given high priority.
Apologies for repeating myself yet again, but this is a huge problem, and the truth is, it simply won't be fixed unless more users speak up.
