As for bleed text blocks, I have never had more than one Finale file open at a time, and I don't intend to start now, so the text block bleeding shouldn't be an issue for me (he says hopefully).

You're kidding.

You're breaking my heart, Martin.

Seriously, though, do me a favor? Open a bunch of pre-2004 files at once (like, 20+). Save them all under different names (like "Test 1," "Test 2", or whatever) and save them all to the Desktop or other easy-to-find location (you will delete them afterwards). Turn on Autosave and set it to save every minute. [The bug may be autosave-related.] Next, change a text block in one of the open documents. Then cycle through each window (cmd-~) and hit Redraw (cmd-D) for each window. Look for unwanted changes due to text block bleed. If you don't get any, edit another text block and repeat.

It shouldn't take you more than five minutes to uncover the bug.

If/when you do, file a bug report with Coda.

It would mean *so* much to me. [grin] No, seriously, it would.

Or, alternatively, if you can't reproduce this bug, let me know, and send me your system specs.

If I can help Coda isolate the problem, perhaps they will be more inclined to fix it.

Regards,

- Darcy
