For what it's worth, an announcement recently was made that the new iMacs are going to be G5's, in case an iMac is an alternative for Eric. Their production is being a little delayed due to what I understand are processor production problems at IBM.
Used PBs are not necessariy a bad decision, so long as the person does it with eyes open. Definitely I wouldn't buy anything but a G4, of course. I'm on a dinosaur, a PB 3400 (not even a G3). I use FinMac 2k2. I can do publisher-ready output, and do, and don't have the speed problems of the updates. (I am NOT saying I wouldn't like to upgrade and update if I had the money.) -Richard > From: Darcy James Argue <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Why on earth would you want to get a dual-boot mac at this late date? > Especially a *used laptop*?
