Now, I feel a lot better about possibly buying a new
Powerbook running OS X.
May I impose with a bit more follow-up? Since you've
convinced me to "come in...the OS X water is fine" :)
I'm now starting to look at the 17" Powerbook with a 1
Ghz processor and 1 Gb of RAM.
-May I assume that the issues with running Finale in
Classic mode and MIDI I/O have been solved or at least
worked around?
-Can anyone recommend a rock solid MIDI interface for
Classic MIDI I/O within Panther?
-How about a relatively stable soft sampler (Kompakt,
Reason, Personal Orchestra) that interfaces well with
Finale?
