Personally I really think is you are going OS X on a fast machine, you
should also leave some money in the bag to buy the upgrade for Finale 2k4.
Yes there are problems, but on the other hand, Fin2k4 in OS X is very
stable, and the speed problems are not going to be all that noticable on a
1.5 GHz. At least then you'll know that MIDI works.

I doubt that you will get 2k3 to work in classic _and_ use softsamplers with
it reliably. Perhaps someone has done it?
