Which version of Finale are you using? I'm on 2k4, and it works just fine.
Here's a copy of my original post - the measure I'm working with is the second measure in the staff, after an invisible measure which has been forced to begin a new staff system. I'm using FinWin2k4b.r1.
I want to display a clef on a particular measure, which is not the first in the staff. I can't find anything in the documentation about forcing a display without a previous clef change. There's a reference in an old post about 2001 allowing a clef to be displayed on each measure, but no details.
If any one has a solution, I'd appreciate it! I've tried creating a staff style, but that didn't work. I could create a mid-measure clef, but couldn't get it to appear before the key signature, which I was easily able to display. I've tried changing the clef on the invisible measure before the one in question, but the clef displays AFTER the key signature -- go figure.
