I presume it was edinote? I was on to them a few weeks back, just before the official release date and although it took a few e-mails to convince them that it was actually available they sent me this reply on 30th Aug:
OK Je vais les recevoir dans la premiere 15 de septembre. a bient�t.
Next time address it to Jo�l, he always gets back.
I'm in no real rush to get the upgrade so I'll wait until they contact me that they have their copies in stock. The only reason I want to upgrade this time is to hopefully get over all the bugs that are in 2004!
I'd get it from other sources but probably like you if I buy it in France I can easily re-claim the TVA.
Be careful about ordering from the USA (or elsewhere), you *could* get slammed for a lot of extra import tax, it has happened to me.

Over two weeks ago, I wrote to Makemusic's French dealer inquiring about
the availability and the price of the 2005 update (standard English
version). No answer. Four days ago, I wrote to Makemusic's International
Sales expressing my surprise and asking them the same questions. No answer
either.
Does anyone know of any dealers in the Euro zone who are interested in selling the software and who reply to email?
