Can anyone recommend a sound module for use with Finale 97, a Fatar SL-990 keyboard, and an Edirol midi interface?---Brian

I use the Kurzweil PC2r and am very happy with it. It runs just under $1000, but currently Kurzweil's parent company, Young Chang, is in very deep trouble financially and the future of all the assets of the company is very much in doubt. So parts may be impossible to get, service may be impossible to get. But the quality of the sounds is wonderful (compared to many other modules) in my opinion.

I would buy another one in an instant, if I needed one, despite the troubled financial waters which might lead to the non-existence of any Kurzweil products or support or parts.

If that price tag is too high, or the financial future of the company might turn you off, many others enjoy the fine modules from EMU, and still others enjoy the modules from Yamaha.

At the lower end of the spectrum are the modules offered by Edirol (I don't know if they're still called Sound Canvas modules).
