In music, as in many other disciplines in life, authors: musicians, poets, novelists, etc. take advantage of the colorful and rich universe designed or dreamed by the ones who were there before. It is a known fact that artists and creators continuously render tribute and homage to the ones they admire by recreating their works, be it music, painting or whatever, and in doing so serve themselves of the same language used by their inspirers.
La main, avec la main or "bouche, and "ouvert" are terms used at leisure to indicate the same.
Thus said, it would be criminal, to the souls and hearts of music and musicians to deprive them from the privilege of cultivating the universal language.

Hi all,

On horns, do you know the english and the german translation of "la main"
or "avec la main"? Does it exist an italian word to avoid these
translations?

Thanks for your responses.

Pierre.
