Hmmmmm again. I kind of thought CD's were more or less indestructable
... guess not. However, I did, in fact, copy all of my Fin files to a
CD-RW awhile ago, and some other non-musical stuff. At least with the
later, I could open and close the files fine, and edit them. I didn't
try to erase anything, but I thought it might be a pretty good backup
method (I have been using a ZIP for some of the more current and
important stuff) until I read your last. I wonder what kind of cost a
external HD would come at.

Considering the price of blanks it is hardly worth thinking about.
Just burn your CD again.

harddisk is
