i have a Samsung SyncMaster 213T, and it rotates very easily on its stand. It now works with my newly installed OS X Tiger. If you're on PC, I know there is a CD with a software for switching the display that only works on Windows.
I am overall very happy with this monitor.

In the next month or so, I might finally buy a new TFT monitor (I have a 17" CRT at the moment).I'd like a slightly larger size (19-21").I have to admit, having only had to buy a separate monitor once, I'm a little in the dark as to what I should be looking for regarding specification.I will be primarily using it for Finale, some sequencing and audio work, and occasional gaming (though that's a secondary consideration).

Obviously things like angle adjustability and are things I would know to look for, but what other specifications should I be looking at?

Also, I know there is software available to use monitors in portrait format (can't remember the name of it), presumably this would require a special stand/arm, and no monitors would be setup for this out of the box?

Cheers,

C.
