I have *both* problems. I brought up the skipping behavior on this list a few months ago, and was assured that it was an OSX issue, not a Finale issue.
Definitely not. Originally the problem was that the buttons were not responsive enough, and required several clicks. Trying to fix this some maintenance update started having the page skip problems.
However, as far as I know it is a problem only in the OS X versions of Finale.
