Could someone explain to me the logic behind setting up COPY
EVERYTHING to copy fewer things than manually setting both of the
copy options dialogs to ALL? I'd love to be able to retain this as a
default, because I'm constantly copying passages with clef changes,
consequently losing the clef changes (or ending up with them in the
wrong place), then, in the process of re-appying the clef changes,
running onto the clef change bug that makes a measure completely
unresponsive to double clicking with clef tool.

In most cases, if the copy behavior made sense in the first place,
I'd never encounter this bug.

That is, if Finale copied clef changes when COPY EVERYTHING was
selected, I'd probably never encounter the clef change bug.

I seem to remember that the explanation for *not* copying clefs was
so that if you were copying between staves with different clefs you'd
not end up with nonsensical clef changes. Well, that makes sense for
copies between staves, but NO SENSE AT ALL for copies within a staff
(or, for that matter, between staves with the same
clef/transposition).
