I have a somewhat different question. Why do you want to do this? The only use I can think of for a 4-line staff is for Gregorian chant notation, and St. Meinrad's Archabbey in southern Indiana has a very fine font for this. Well, not exactly a font. It takes over and reprograms your ASCII keyboard, and takes a while to learn, but it looks great.

The only other usage I can think of is for unpitched percussion, but percussionists are used to reading from a 5-line staff like everyone else.

Just curious.  No big deal.
