I'm not quite sure what your problem is, except that if you're trying to
do this with Simple Entry it may be giving slightly unexpected
behaviour. Try entering the three notes with ordinary values, then
choose the Tuplet tool (not the tuplet option within the Simple Entry
tool), and click on the first of the three notes.
