I would be fine with that, because the archives would be appearing in 
the context of the Finale list's parent site.

Personally, *I* have no interest in searching the archives. The 
information on this list has a very short shelf life because of the 
yearly upgrade schedule.

It seems to me that SHSU ought to be asked, through Henry, to improve 
the search functionality. I don't know if this is completely linked 
to mailman or if 3rd-party search is possible. I also don't know if 
the version of mailman running at SHSU is the latest.

But that's where I would start if I were unhappy with the 
searchability of the archives, by writing to Henry and asking him to 
investigate with SHSU's IT department about what can be done to 
improve it.
