I see no inconsistency. The archives are available only to list 
subscribers, the people that my posts are written for.

The Opensubscriber.com archives are open to everyone.

That's a completely different audience and I am *not* writing my 
posts for them.

If someone did that without asking me, I'd be just as unhappy with it 
as I am with Opensubscriber.com. If I found out about it, I'd ask 
them to stop doing it, just as I've asked Opensubscriber.com to 
remove my posts from their archive.

I'm sure that's exactly what all the people thought who lost their 
jobs for misinterpretations of postings made in non-job-related 
forums.
