That's all well and good, but how do you convert older files into the new version? Copy the data into a new template? We all know how well *that* works -- *NOT*. This is an area in which Finale is very, very bad, and that seems to me to have lots of bugs and inconsistencies. I encounter them constantly, simply because I've been working on some of my files since 1991. Conversion to the new version clearly does *not* convert everything. -- David W.
