Hello Michael,
I think it would be great if that is what "Reset to Defaults" means. I thought it meant that you could setup a default copy action somewhere and that you could click the "Reset To Defaults" button that to get back to that desired way of copying. If all it means is "Check All" then why not call it "Check All" (which is next to the "Uncheck All" button)? Is that not logical? Since I don't have a copy of 2006 it's hard to answer a lot of the many questions I have regarding this issue.

the "Reset To Defaults" button is the equivalent of "Check All".
