I know one can (in Speedy on PC) cursor, O (the letter, not zero) which will hide the cursored note or rest, but I' sure one of our gurus have a more global or regional method than that.

Subject: Re: [Finale] Question 2 for the day

Greetings group !

I have a off-subject Finale question for anyone out there who uses same.

After you have scored your music out and in the different layers;  when you

go to print it - how do you delete, extract, make dissappear;   the extra

rests from the

various layers so that they won't print or move the notation from that

layer.

I know how it's done in Sibelius, but that way doesn't work in Finale

2001B.

Any help is greatly apprecieated.

(This was posted on the organist chat group on yahoo......i am forwarding

this for a reply if possible)
