I know one can (in Speedy on PC) cursor, O (the letter, not zero) which will hide the cursored note or rest, but I' sure one of our gurus have a more global or regional method than that.

Greetings group !
I have a off-subject Finale question for anyone out there who uses same.
After you have scored your music out and in the different layers; when you go to print it - how do you delete, extract, make dissappear; the extra rests from the various layers so that they won't print or move the notation from that layer.
I know how it's done in Sibelius, but that way doesn't work in Finale 2001B.
Any help is greatly apprecieated.
