I would very strongly recommend not dividing the score into several files. Even for very large pieces, you are generally much better off with a single score file for the entire work. It will save you a ton of work and frustration in the long run.

At the very least, you should start out with a single score file -- if it becomes so big you find it's absolutely unworkable, you can always split the file later. (Splitting is much, much easier than joining.)

That said, if you want to paste together the extracted parts from multiple files, Robert Patterson's Mass Copy plugin is pretty much obligatory.
