Has anyone got any advice about reducing the space taken up by large
note values - halves and whole notes? I find that when dealing with
parts that need more measures on a line than the default spacing does
well, I can often get an extra measure or two in by manually editing
the spacing of measures that contain few notes and reducing the size
of those measures.
I guess there are several questions here: are there better settings
for these note values than the defaults, and does TG tools do a good
job with this kind of thing? Anyone have experience with TG tools
settings for this kind of problem?
