iDisk is wonderful for that, and for synchronising files easily between two computers (say, my home and my school computer.) Combined with a keychain drive (you know, the little ones you can get at Radio Shack?), a burn to CD from time to time, and a second hard drive, the only way I have lost files is through stupid errors on my part.

Dennis B-K's incremental save procedure is one I happened on by myself after I had accidentally overwritten a large file a couple of years ago. I use it for any file that contains more than a day's work, incrementing every time I save. Small files I don't bother with, though (silly me!)
