[Finale] Hogging CPU

I have been working on Finwin 2004a.r1 this morning but turned my 
attention to some other tasks and found the computer reacting rather 
sluggishly.  A check of the "Processes" window of Windows Task Manager 
(XP Home Edition) shows Finale using between 85% and 90% of the CPU, 
even when parked (i.e. reduced to a taskbar button).  Does anyone else 
suffer this, or is it a quirk of my setup?
